Foster is a rural town located in Northwest Rhode Island bordering Connecticut. With a population of around 5,000 people and a land area of 51 square miles, Foster is the second least populated town on the Rhode Island mainland. Known for it's expansive undeveloped land, Foster is also home to the only two covered bridges in Rhode Island.
